About me

My purpose is to connect people to ideas which transform.

I love what I do, I do it because I know education and learning changes lives. It makes us better individuals and then we are better to each other. That has a ripple effect and changes the world.

For over 10 years I have worked in corporate environments in the area of people operations and performance. During this time I have worked across the full spectrum of people ops as a HR generalist, however my superpower is in learning and development where I facilitate and craft learning experiences and provide specialised coaching to help people perform at their best!

I have worked with people from all backgrounds, from front line logistics to senior executives and there is one thing I know for sure, we all want to be seen, heard and belong.

I’m degree qualified with a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) and a Masters in HR and Organisational Development from Southern Cross University. I’ve further specialised with a Professional Certificate of Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne.

When I was 15 I was promoted to being a Buddy Trainer and I still remember jumping up and down when I got my shiny silver badge. I loved training people, everything about it – organising the materials, providing feedback, running inductions, talking to people, writing content – I would stay back after work to create a training noticeboard or prepare for new starters, just because. I’m now far more experienced but still as passionate.

Notes about the content

I have a day job leading a team and doing something I really enjoy. It goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway) that’s the views expressed and the products shared are my own and not the views of my employer.
